There are a lot of actresses that are horrible in acting. Everyone has their own opinions when it comes to acting and talent. Shriya is new in tamil films. Give her sometime to adjust. Simran and joythika weren't that great when they started in tamil. They were just another pretty face showing skin. Then later they got amazing roles which showed their acting skills. Geneila was horrible in all of her films in tamil (boys, sachein). I think she was oky in SS. Still abit overacting imo.

well she has acted in many telugu films and she's worse in telugu than in tamil. Her tamil films are alright compared to her telugu films...

I have only seen about 2-3 films of hers in telugu. I prefer trisha films in telugu more. Anyway, in those films that I have seen Shriya in, she didn't really have any meaty roles. From what she was given, I thought she did fine. Again everyone has their own opinions, but I don't think she's the best actress in tamil right now nor is she the worst.
